Business Fitness Checkup – On-line tools that allow you to assess the general strengths and weaknesses of your business and connect you with the proper resources for any assistance you may need to improve your business.
Business Referrals – The chamber office receives countless inquiries via mail, email, phone and walk-in visits and always refers member businesses first.
Business Resources – The Chamber partners with the Small Business Development Center, The Small Business Administration, the Small Business Association of Michigan, Connect Michigan, Michigan Works, the Michigan Chamber of Commerce, the Mecosta County Economic Development Corporation and others to provide members with a variety of resources to further advance their businesses.
Chamber Website – Our site includes a searchable database, calendar of events, hot deals, member-to-member discounts, job postings and direct links to member websites. You can keep your site updated by adding your events, videos, discounts, and links.
MyChamberApp – Members are included in our free, geographically relevant, phone app that works on all smart phones; site offers one-touch phone calls, directions to your location, maps, details on your upcoming events, your hot deals, a link to your website and more.
Weekly Electronic Newsletter – This is sent out to all members, their employees, and interested community members each week. It serves as an informational piece, keeping readers up-to-date on area happenings, events and general area information; members are encouraged to include their upcoming events.
Monthly Newsletter – This publication is distributed to all Mecosta County households, providing information on community events, educational seminars, service organization functions as well as opportunities to advertise and general information. Member events are listed, free of charge, in the community bulletin.
Membership Directory – Member information is listed in an annual publication that is distributed throughout the year to our members, and at various events, expos, in our office, and mailed by request.
Information – The Chamber’s resources include telephone directories, city/county maps, club and organization lists, community profile, demographics, member business information and more.
Public Notary – Chamber members receive Public Notary services at no charge.
Discounts – Members receive insurance discounts through the Member-to-Member program, use of the Chamber’s bulk mailing permit and a variety of business related discounts through SBAM.
Educational Opportunities- The Chamber has events and programs such as Lunch & Learns, Educational Speaker Series, Legislative Luncheons, TIPS trainings, and the Leadership Mecosta program to help further the success of your business.
Projector and Screen – Members are welcome to borrow the Chamber’s screen and projector free of charge, subject to availability.
Membership List – Current membership list is available to members via email free of charge

Leadership Mecosta – This leadership program offers great opportunities for personal growth, community development, networking and education by providing experiences, class work, projects and community tours. (Cost involved)
SCORE – (Senior Corp Of Retired Executives) connects future and current small business owners to mentors that can assist you with your success in a variety of areas.
Smart Text – Access to mobile communications is becoming far more convenient. It’s a great way to receive reminders of current and upcoming events.
SBAM- Chamber Members are automatically enrolled in SBAM at no additional cost. The Small Business Association of Michigan focuses the buying and political power of our members to save you time, save you money, and help your business succeed.
Advocacy- The Chamber serves as the primary business advocate for our members with City, County and State entities. Members are informed of issues that may affect their business and kept apprise of impending changes in legislation.
Networking Opportunities– Monthly Business after Hours, Monthly Rise and Shine Events, Special Programs and many annual events. Chamber members receive discounted vendor rates for all applicable events.
