Join us for our virtual 2020 Artworks Gala with online and in-person opportunities to engage with the arts for a full week, September 21-27, instead of only a few hours! You can stop in, Zoom in, Facebook in, or call in to be part of this fantastic week. Our silent auction will be available for viewing from September 21-26 in the Batdorff Gallery and the Lower Gallery sponsored by TCF. Be sure to bid on all of what we offer either in person or via phone (231-796-2420, Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.). As always, our artists and community have been especially generous, and we have a huge selection of beautiful art, jewels, books, and a variety of experiences. Of course, all the proceeds help Artworks vitalize our community through the arts and humanities. Instead of buying a ticket for an event, you can buy a “Gala To-Go” box that will include gala-themed items to provide you a connection to our programming throughout the week, along with some special gifts and treats from our supporters. Throughout the entire week, you can participate in get-togethers online to discuss art and humanities topics and hear special presentations by our artists and by professionals helping us all go deeper into our appreciation and engagement with the arts. We will also be hosting live artist demonstrations each day in the Batdorff Gallery for your viewing pleasure, and we are planning for other special entertainment! (All available on our various viewing platforms.) Finally, we will end the week on Sunday at noon with a very special virtual presentation highlighting our Patron of the Arts winner, Bette Hartig. We will also share how your support made a difference in 2019-2020 as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of Artworks and look toward the next 20 years. Join us for this exciting opportunity to support Artworks in 2020. Help us keep the arts alive for our community.
